The Col de Pennes is an nice alpine pass between the Drôme and the Roanne valleys. There are 4 different possibilities to climb it. In this video we take the northeastern approach from Recoubeau via Jansac and cycle down to the Roanne Valley on the east side via Aucelon over a narrow winding road with little traffic along rocky walls and great views on beautiful mountainous surroundings.

This is the first tour-segment out of 4 of a longer day trip to the Rousset. It ends where the next video (Roanne - Pontaix) starts.
